To remain as an individualized major, a student must maintain a 2.5 major GPA. A student who does not satisfy this requirement will be dismissed from the program. If the student to be dismissed meets minimum University of Connecticut scholastic standards as outlined in the University Senate bylaws, the director or his/her designee will advise the student regarding alternative major options. Under exceptional circumstances the student may remain in the major with the permission of the director of the Individualized Major Program or his/her designee.
